1992 3000GT WITH LOW MILEAGE, EXCELLENT CONDITION, ONE OWNER, RECENT TIMING BELT SERVICE.

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Good Morning, Afternoon and/or Evening, I am listing my extremely MINT and extremely low mileage 3000GT Spyder SL. When I say low mileage, I mean one of the lowest mileage if not the lowest mileage 3000GT Spyder SL in the country right now. This car is fully stock and includes all the rare Spyder specific parts that were made specifically for this car. A little background on the reason for this listing: I fell in love with this car when I was back in HS, ahh the Gran Turismo days. When I finally found a good, clean, low mileage version I immediately jumped on it. My goal and intention 4 years ago was to modify and make this car my own so-to-speak. Well…that was before I finished Grad school and met my soon-to-be future wife. Ahh…the things we do for love. The sole reason I am listing the car for sale is to simply help us pay for our wedding and honeymoon (weddings are expensive these days…). I did try to covince my wife to-be that I could update and keep the car but she brought me back to reality after we had a budget breakdown. Pshh..cars don’t need to make sense, right :) A little background on the car itself: For those that may have stumbled upon this auction, then I am sure you know what this car. As another auction before hinted, there are probably less than 500 of these cars left on the road and probably only a handful with as low miles as this one. Unfortunately quite a few 3000GTs met their untimely demise during the whole “Cash for clunkers” program back Congress approved back in 2009. When I say this car is MINT, I mean MINT. I bought this car with 31,568 miles on it and put less than 200 miles, much of this is because I got distracted with school and as corny as this may sound meeting my other half. Whomever acquires this car will truly pickup one of the CLEANEST examples of this model and model year. Spyder Specific: The Hard-Top works perfectly, retracts on and/or off per OEM specifications with no issues whatsoever. The vehicle includes all its original Spyder Owner’s Manual and associated documentation which, from what I’ve come to see is extremely rare. Even RARE to my surprise is that it also retains its original OEM Spyder Floor mats. Seriously…those OEM floor mats are extremely hard to come by these days. I know because I was looking to buy a second set as a spare. While I’ve taken tons of pictures, I truly felt that a video is the only way to do this car justice thus I’ve included a short driving vehicle and video capturing the Hard-top retracting and advancing as expected. All the lights work, all the sensors work, all the electrical components work flawlessly. Cruise control activates on and off, Overdrive activates on and off, it shifts seamlessly between Touring and Power i.e. what we would call “Sport mode” today. All the interior and exterior lights all works. All the windows roll up and down flawlessly. The AC/Heat system works immaculately. (Please See Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yIH3g_E-Vs) Mechanical/Engine: Once I purchased the car back in 2015, I immediately had it inspected and fully serviced. I had a full system flush i.e. brake, transmission, oil. Had the the AC system serviced ensuring that it puts out cold air when it’s hot and hot air when it’s cold. All the belts, hoses and clamps were inspected. As you can see in the pictures, you want find a cleaner OEM engine bay than this. Truly…it is in remarkable shape. Exterior/Interior: The exterior is in phenomenal shape although the car does have light scuffs/scratches. Nothing that a good paint correction, buffing and/or waxing can’t resolve. I would rate the paint at a 8.5-9 just because of those light scuff marks, mind you…this is a 24 year old car. The color of this car is Black or “Sable Black”, the official paint code for the car, and comes with a tan interior. The interior is impeccable shape, the leather has only minor and I mean minor cracking but overall its truly in amazing shape. The carpet and headliner are also flawless. Two Caveats & One Additional: Caveat 1: The radio does indeed work however, I unfortunately overlooked that the battery tender wasn’t connected and the battery died out (I recently replaced it) and thus the radio requires a code. Honestly, I didn’t care because I had planned to upgrade the head unit (there are so many out there that easily fit) but that was before the Mrs. convinced me to simply sell the car. However, I can guarantee that if you want a good head unit this one works flawlessly once unlocked. The radio, speakers and even the retracting antenna work all work flawlessly. Caveat 2: The car comes with a clear title however, it’s a Virginia “Not Actual Title”. The reason for the Not Actual is because the vehicle received Odometer exemption status in Nevada back in 2007 due to its age. Nevada apparently grants Odometer exemption to cars older than 10 years. http://www.dmvnv.com/pdfforms/regtitle.pdf That exemption is the sole reason this car has a “Not Actual”. You can run the Carfax however, if you message me I can send you the Carfax since I've already run it. This will save a potential buyer ~30-40$. I have taken those two caveats into consideration on the listing price of this vehicle. Additional: The car will come with three keys, two specially made for the car from 3SX (https://www.3sx.com/ignition-key-metal-mitsubishi-red-diamonds). One Stock, OEM Key and one Key Fob although the key fob's battery needs to be replaced. This car truly, truly drives flawlessly and belongs in the hand of someone that will put some miles on it.
